PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a vehicle lamp and welding method thereof, in which the welding portion between a lens and a housing formed by laser irradiation does not impair appearance.SOLUTION: When welding and joining by laser beams a tip part of an annular rib 12 installed in a lens 10 made of a light transmission resin and an upper part of an annular abutment part 24 installed in a housing 20 consisting of a light absorption resin, the abutment part 24 of the housing 20 has a shape in which an end corner on an upper (welding face) 25 side is cut out, and a flow-out portion 51, which is extruded by sinking of the tip part of the rib 12, of a fusion part 50 of a melting portion of the abutment part 24 of the housing 20 and the melting portion of the rib 12 of the lens 10, stays in and is housed in the cut-out portion. |
