PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an electric tool that is driven by a compact secondary battery, and can be efficiently charged using dry cells, and to provide a charging apparatus.SOLUTION: There is provided an electric tool 1 including: a trigger switch 7 controlling the rotation of a motor 5; a speed reducing mechanism 10 reducing the rotation of the motor 5; power transmission mechanisms (20, 30) driving an output shaft 31 continuously or intermittently; a built-in type secondary battery 4 for supplying driving power to the motor 5; and housings (2, 3) housing them, and further including a connection terminal to which a charger 50 is connected from outside so as to charge the secondary battery 4. A charging stop signal is generated when the motor 5 rotates, and the charging stop signal operatively linked to output of the trigger switch 7 is output to the charger 50 through the connection terminal. The charger 50 uses dry cells 52 as a power supply, and includes a charging circuit 51 having a boosting circuit which boosts an output voltage and a constant current circuit which keeps a charging current constant. |
