PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an anti-counterfeit medium, and a method for identifying the anti-counterfeit medium allowing a plurality of verification methods in addition to visual authenticity determination in the anti-counterfeit medium.SOLUTION: Apertures are formed with minute characters in a part of an anti-counterfeit member having metal vapor deposition. The apertures are arranged in longitudinal and lateral directions at a specified pitch, and the arranged apertures form a pattern. The obtained anti-counterfeit member is stuck to a medium to be protected from counterfeiting. When the rear face of the anti-counterfeit medium is irradiated with light, the pattern appears, and the minute characters are magnified by placing a convex lens array arranged at the specified pitch, over the surface of the anti-counterfeit member. |
