PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To save power according to the use state of each device.SOLUTION: An information processing system includes a first device, one or a plurality of second devices, and one or a plurality of relay devices for relaying a transmission path between the first device and a second device. The first device includes: packet generation means for setting the communication speed of a transmission path between the relay device, which is connected to the second device, and the second device, according to the use state of the second device relative to the first device, and for generating a notification packet including the set communication speed information; and transmission means for transmitting the notification packet obtained by the packet generation means to the relay device connected to the second device. The relay device, connected to the second device, includes speed setting means for setting each communication speed for each second device, based on the communication speed information included in the notification packet transmitted from the first device. |
