PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide cement clinker in which an increase in the b value of the cement clinker can be suppressed, even when using increased amounts of waste and by-products, and a method for producing the cement clinker.SOLUTION: A cement clinker includes 1.05-3.0 mass% of MgO and an average particle size of 1.0-10.0 mm. The cement clinker has 5.5-7.5 mass% of AlO. The method for producing the cement clinker comprises: a step of pulverizing a raw material to obtain a raw material powder containing 10-50 mass% of a 90 μm residue; a step of firing the raw material powder in a cement kiln to produce a cement clinker; and a step of cooling the cement clinker in a cooler to obtain the cement clinker. |
