PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a musical sound production device which is capable of smooth performance by preventing the deviation of sound production timing due to a time lag between the transmission side and the reception side in the case that a sound production instruction signal is wirelessly transmitted from a performance operator to a device including a sound output unit.SOLUTION: A stick part 10 generates a sound production instruction signal on the basis of movement of a body of the stick part 10 and adds time data to the generated sound production instruction signal to transmit them to a center unit part 20 wirelessly. The center unit part 20 calculates a difference between the time indicated by the time data added to the received sound production instruction signal and the reception time of the sound production instruction signal to create a histogram of the difference each time when receiving the sound production instruction signal and adjusts a sound production timing based on the sound production instruction signal on the basis of the histogram and causes a sound output part 251 to produce a prescribed musical sound at the adjusted timing on the basis of the sound production instruction signal. |
