PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To solve problems that, in a conventional art, because a 180[deg/step]-single-phase step motor generally used in a wrist watch having only a small battery has a simple configuration and is too small, there is a little of room for improvement, and an energy utilization efficiency is approximately 50% or so at most, and therefore, further reduction in power consumption is difficult, and that, although a large coil is required for reduction in power consumption, there are subjects in a design of a clock movement to achieve a configuration mounting two or more coils.SOLUTION: A step motor has a structure in which both a rotor and a stator have magnetic poles of 2p poles (p is an integer of 2 or more), and a notch for determining a rotation direction is formed to each magnetic pole of the stator, and the rotor is operated by 360/2p [deg/step] by means of one coil having a winding axial direction of a lead wire in a direction vertical to a rotor rotation shaft. |
