PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a digital broadcast receiver for smoothly selecting a target program.SOLUTION: A broadcast station information acquisition section 107 detects area identification from service identification mentioned in PSI/SI. An area estimating section 109 specifies a reception area on the basis of the area identification from a broadcast station list of a scanning result. A channel selection list management section compares the reception area specified by the area estimating section with user setting area information obtained from a user setting area managing section. When they are matched, channel selection IF of a remote control key ID base is provided. When they are not matched, channel selection IF of a group identification base is provided. Thus, a broadcast station which broadcasts a target program can smoothly be selected by a user. |
