PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To secure a supply amount of oil necessary for cooling and lubrication even when bubbles are mixed in the oil.SOLUTION: A controller of a motor driven oil pump collects and stores oil used for cooling and lubricating a movable body being an object to be cooled and lubricated in a vehicle and supplies the oil to the movable body from a storage part in which at least a part of agitators agitating the stored oil immerses. The controller also calculates a target rotation speed Na of an electric motor driving the motor driven oil pump on the basis of an oil temperature (S1), determines the presence of bubbles in the oil with the movable body and agitator when a vehicle speed V is a prescribed value Vor more (S2), and calculates a correction amount &Dgr;N for correcting a target rotation speed Na to compensate for oil supply amount shortage owing to a volumetric efficiency drop in the motor driven oil pump because of bubble containment (S3). An electric motor is rotationally driven at a correction rotation speed Nb obtained by adding the correction amount &Dgr;N to the correction rotation speed Na (S4). |
