PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a workpiece hanging control device and method in a hanger line, configured to prevent difficulty in precise hanging when a hole of a workpiece requiring no high precision is hung on a hanger that is likely to be deformed with time.SOLUTION: A workpiece hanging control device includes: a hanger line CL5 continuously conveying a plurality of hangers 5; a robot CL2 that has a hand 17 for gripping a stabilizer 21 to move the stabilizer 21 up to a hanging setting position 13 set on the hanger line CL1; a control section CL3 controlling the movement of the hand 17 to hang a hole 29 on a hanger hook 33 at the hanging setting position 13; a hole displacement detection section CL4 detecting displacement amount (X, Y) of the hole 29; an attitude displacement amount detection section CL5 detecting attitude displacement amount Y of the hangers 5; and a correction section CL6 correcting the control of the control section CL3 on the basis of the displacement amount (X, Y) of the hole 29 and the attitude displacement amount of the hangers 5. |
