PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a drive controller for a vehicle capable of securing the high responsiveness of an engine torque to prepare for torque down control during a gear shift of an automatic transmission in the vehicle with an engine having a supercharger and the automatic transmission.SOLUTION: An electronic controller executes throttle standby control for setting an electronic throttle valve 72 at a more closed aperture than a full aperture in a range where an upstream atmospheric pressure PHth of the throttle valve and a downstream atmospheric pressure PLth of the throttle valve are equal each other in an intake passage of the engine 10 during a gear shift of the automatic transmission 12 while an engine suction air amount is regulated in response to a supercharging pressure Pcm by fixing a throttle aperture &thetas;th. Therefor, the high responsiveness of the engine torque can be secured preparing for torque down control during a gear shift of the automatic transmission 12 while preventing engine torque damage during throttle standby control in comparison with that in the case that the electronic throttle valve 72 is full open. |
