摘要 PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To miniaturize a whole system by reducing the flow rate of cooling oil while preventing overheating of a workpiece.SOLUTION: A cooling device includes oil flow rate sensors F1-F3 detecting flow rate of grinding oil to be supplied to a grinding part 29, oil temperature sensors T1-T3 detecting the temperature of the grinding oil supplied to the grinding part 29, an after-use oil temperature sensor T4 detecting the temperature of the grinding oil after use, means estimating grinding part heat generation amount generated in grinding of a workpiece W on the basis of the temperature of the grinding oil supplied to the grinding part 29, the temperature of the grinding oil after use and the flow rate of the grinding oil supplied to the grinding part 29, and means calculating grinding oil flow rate to make the workpiece W have a target temperature on the basis of the grinding part heat generation amount estimated by the means and heat balance of the grinding part 29. Pumps 34, 42 and 38 are controlled to have the calculated grinding oil flow rate.
