PURPOSE: A product storage device which security is reinforced is provided to approve use of a storage device based on an individual fingerprint, thereby preventing loss of a stored product. CONSTITUTION: A storage device(10) includes a locking unit which automatically opens and closes a door, a transmitting/receiving device, and a control unit controlling the locking u nit according to information received in the transmitting/receiving device. A fingerprint recognition device(23) recognizes a fingerprint of a storage device user. A camera(24) photographs a face of the storage device user. A memory(26) registers and stores use information of storage devices, the fingerprint which the fingerprint recognition device recognizes and face image information which the camera photographs. A controller(29) determines whether or not the fingerprint registered in the memory coincides with the fingerprint recognized in the fingerprint recognition device.
