PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a liquid ejection head having a piezoelectric layer where cracking does not occur, and to provide a liquid ejection apparatus and a piezoelectric element.SOLUTION: The liquid ejection head for ejecting liquid from a nozzle opening includes a piezoelectric layer and a piezoelectric element having an electrode provided in the piezoelectric layer. The piezoelectric layer consists of a composite oxide having a perovskite structure, and has a peak in the range of 4.75°-28.3° when scanning in the χ direction while fixing 2&thetas; in the range of 21.9°-22.7°, and a peak in the range of 24.8°-40.75° when scanning in the χ direction while fixing 2&thetas; in the range of 31.1°-32.6°. |
