PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a vibration piece having excellent vibration characteristics.SOLUTION: A vibration piece has a crystal substrate 3 and a conductor pattern formed on the crystal substrate 3. The crystal substrate 3 has a vibration part and a thin part disposed around the vibration part. The vibration part has a first protrusion 35 protruding from the thin part toward a +Y' axis side, and a second protrusion 37 protruding toward a -Y' axis side. An end A1 of a major surface 351 of the first protrusion 35 located on a +Z' axis side is located overlappingly in a Y' axis direction with a side surface 373 of the second protrusion 37 located on a +Z' axis side with respect to a major surface 371 thereof. An end A3 of the major surface 371 of the second protrusion 37 located on a -Z' axis side is located overlappingly in the Y' axis direction with a side surface 353 of the first protrusion 35 located on the -Z' axis side with respect to a major surface 351 thereof.
