PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a heat-ray shielding material having high visible light transmittance and average solar reflectance, capable of reflecting infrared light over a wide band.SOLUTION: A heat-ray shielding material has a metal particle-containing layer containing at least one kind of metal particles. The metal particles contain at least 60% by number of substantially hexagonal or circular-shaped metal flat particles. The main plane of the planar metal particles is oriented at a range of an average 0° to ±30° with respect to one of the surfaces of the metal particle-containing layer. A coefficient of variation in a circle-equivalent diameter of the metal flat particles is 13% or more. RMS granularity of the planar metal particles is 30 or less. |
