PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an image forming apparatus which is capable of forming an image on a sheet in a favorable manner.SOLUTION: An image forming apparatus 1 comprises: a housing 9 having a discharge port 71 formed in it; a conveyance part 10 which is provided in the housing 9 and discharges a sheet 99 from the discharge port 71; a transfer part 20 which is provided in the housing 9 and includes a photoreceptor drum 21; and a fixing device 30 which is located in the housing 9 above the photoreceptor drum 21. The housing 9 has the following formed in it: a fixing device cover 39 covering the fixing device 30; and an air flow path 50 which is positioned between a wall surface 7W of the housing 9 and the fixing device cover 39 while extending vertically and communicating with the discharge port 71 above the air flow path 50 and discharges air in the housing 9 through the discharge port 71. The air flow path 50 is provided with a guide member 60. The guide member 60 has an upper opening opened upward and a lower opening 62 opened downward and having a larger flow path section area than the upper opening 61 and can guide air between the upper opening 61 and the lower opening 62. |
