PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a guide wire having a coil body with improved flexibility and having a high-adhesion coating resin for a hydrophilic coating layer or the like.SOLUTION: A guide wire includes: a core shaft 14; a coil body 60 formed by winding at least one wire 61 therearound and enclosing a distal end of the core shaft 14; granular bodies 70a filling spaces between the wire 61 forming the coil body 60; and a coating layer 80 made of resin for covering the coil body 60 filled with the granular bodies 70a. The granular bodies 70a of a filler layer 70 have fine voids 70b remaining therebetween even after being covered with a granular surface layer 80. |
