PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To secure transmission quality which is suitable for replaced XFP (10 Gigabit Small Form Factor Pluggable).SOLUTION: A transmission device 1 includes an FPGA (Field-Programmable Gate Array) 3 for performing configuration of a port processing circuit 35 in a line interface 11 which communicates with an XFP 2. The transmission device 1 includes a flash memory 4 for storing configuration information for performing configuration of a measurement circuit 37 which measures and acquires a transmission parameter to be used in communication between the XFP 2 and the port processing circuit 35 in the FPGA 3. The transmission device 1 includes an FPGA control part 13 for performing configuration of the measurement circuit 37 in the part of the port processing circuit 35 on the basis of the configuration information read from the flash memory 4 when loopback connection with the XFP 2 is detected. The measurement circuit 37 measures and acquires the transmission parameter. The FPGA control part 13 sets the acquired transmission parameter in the line interface 11, and then performing reconfiguration of the measurement circuit 37 in the port processing circuit 35. |
