PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an oil level gauge for an automobile, configured to prevent an O-ring from being fixed to an oil level gauge guide.SOLUTION: An oil level gauge 11 for an automobile includes: a level gauge body having an oil level detection part 18 immersed in an oil reservoir of an internal combustion engine of the automobile to measure an oil level; a grip part 13 formed in an upper part of the level gauge body; and an O-ring 17 equipped in the level gauge body to be fitted into an oil level gauge guide for sealing oil. The O-ring is formed of a composition containing fluorine-containing rubber and fluorine-containing resin, and the fluorine-containing resin is crystallized on a surface of the O-ring. The fluorine-containing resin is copolymer containing a polymerization unit based on tetrafluoroethylene and a polymerization unit based on hexafluoropropylene. |
