PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an inner surface flaw detector of a metal pipe and an inner surface flaw detection method of the metal pipe, which can easily inspect the existence of a flaw over the entire area of an inner surface of a metal pipe to be inspected without inserting a device into the metal pipe.SOLUTION: An inner surface flaw detector 1 of a metal pipe comprises: an electromagnetic wave defectoscope 2; an arithmetic processing section 8; and a determination processing section 14a. The electromagnetic wave defectoscope 2 transmits an electromagnetic wave from the outside of a steel pipe 15 to be inspected, to the inside of the steel pipe 15, receives a reflected wave from the inside of the steel pipe 15, and performs inner surface flaw detection on the steel pipe 15 on the basis of the reflected wave. The arithmetic processing section 8 calculates an inner surface property of the steel pipe 15 on the basis of the result of the inner surface flaw detection of the steel pipe 15. The determination processing section 14a determines the existence of an inner surface flaw of the steel pipe 15 on the basis of the calculation result of the inner surface property of the steel pipe 15. |
