PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a temperature stabilizing device capable of saving energy by reducing input electric power to a Peltier element, in the temperature stabilizing device using the Peltier element and controlling a temperature at a temperature higher than an ambient temperature.SOLUTION: In an optical module 1, a semiconductor laser 2 is loaded on a substrate 14 constituting a Peltier element 7, and the Peltier element 7 controls a temperature so that a temperature value obtained by adding a value obtained by dividing heat quantity generated from the semiconductor laser 2 by a heat conductance value of all of thermoelectric semiconductor elements 13 to a temperature value according to an environment in which the optical module 1 is placed becomes smaller than a target temperature value set to the semiconductor laser 2. |
