PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To attach an outer ring to a case member of a resolver while fixing the outer ring to a housing without adopting a special structure for the outer ring of a rolling bearing.SOLUTION: A rolling bearing device with a resolver is equipped with a rolling bearing 14 which has an inner ring 19, an outer ring 21, and a rolling element 22 and rotatably supports an axis of rotation 11, an annular resolver stator 12 positioned in the radial outside of a resolver rotor 13 attached to the axis of rotation 11, and a case member 15 having a cylindrical shaped fitting part 25 to which an outer periphery of the resolver stator 12 is fitted, and a cylindrical shaped outer ring attaching part 24 to which an outer periphery of the outer ring 21 is fitted. On the outer periphery of the outer ring 21, a first fitted part 21a to be fitted by press fitting to an inner periphery of a housing 35 and a second fitted part 21b fitted to the outer ring attaching part 24 are arranged adjacent to each other in an axis direction, and an axis direction width A of the first fitted part 21a is larger than a half of an axis direction width W of the outer ring 21, an axis direction width B of the second fitted part 21b is set smaller than the half of the axis direction width W of the outer ring 21. |
