PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a gear change device of a transmission which has stable damping effect while simplifying a structure of a damper that reduces a moving speed of a shifter shaft after synchronization of synchronous engaging mechanisms.SOLUTION: A gear change device of a transmission includes: a pair of support holes 42, provided in a transmission case 41, into which an end portion of a shifter shaft 33 is inserted in a freely slidable manner; a pair of air chambers 43 which is formed in the support holes 42 and communicating with an air passage 33A so as to be closed by an end portion of the shifter shaft 33 and to penetrate through the shifter shaft 33 in an axial direction; and an orifice 44 which is disposed in the air passages 33A and has a throttle opening part 44A for reducing the quantity of air flowing out of one of the air chamber 43 smaller than a capacity decrease amount of the one air chamber 43 when a moving speed of the shifter shaft 33 exceeds a predetermined speed. |
