PURPOSE: A coordinate image drawing system through photography image synthesis and a global positioning system (GPS) measuring value is provided to process map image renewal of a photography image type and map image renewal of a drawing image type using one plotting instrument. CONSTITUTION: A storage device (200) comprises a photography image database (DB) (210) and a drawing image DB (220). The photographed image DB stores a map image of a photography image type. The drawing image DB edits and draws an aviation photographing image and stores a complete drawing image by applying a GPS value. A plotting instrument (100') comprises first and second input-output units, an assistant output unit (130), and a calculation unit (110). The calculation unit comprises a processing module (111), an interlinking module (112), and an editing module (113). The first and second input-output units are operated as a touch screen mode. The processing module communicates with the storage device and executes a work menu related to image processing and processes an input signal and an output signal generated with the first and second input-output units of an operator and processes an output signal of the assistant output unit. The interlinking module squares an output position of the drawing image outputted from the first and second input-output units with an output position of the drawing image outputted from the assistant output unit. The editing module searches an image stored in the storage device and outputs it with the first and second input-output units or the assistant output unit and edits the image according to an input signal which is inputted from the first and second input-output units and stores the image.
