<p>The nacelle has a fixed part carried by a nacelle portion defining a fixed nozzle area. A movable part i.e. pivotal unit, is carried by another nacelle portion defining a variable nozzle area. Shape of the movable part is adapted to an output area, which is less than a nozzle area of the fixed part in a closed position, equal to the nozzle area of the fixed part in an intermediate position and greater than the nozzle area of the fixed part in an open position. Two deployable half-cowls (20, 21) are arranged at sides of a vertical plane of symmetry of an engine. An independent claim is also included for a method for optimizing engine speed of an aircraft propulsion unit.</p> |
