TOUCH SENSING APPARATUS AND METHOD FOR FILTERING NOISE THEREOF

PURPOSE: Touch sensing device and noise filtering method are provided to implement a noise filter with a fast calculation speed by removing noise by replacing source data with a specific value. CONSTITUTION: Differential amplifiers generate source data obtained as difference between outputs of neighboring touch sensors. A display panel (DIS) has a liquid crystal layer between two glass substrates. A noise filter replaces k-th source data with a specific value. The noise filter maps a window matrix configured with a specific size on the k-th source data and neighboring source data. A receiver (Rx) driving circuit (32) judges touch data by comparing the neighboring source data. A touch coordinate calculation unit (36) configures a threshold value for distinguishing touch data and non-touch data.
