FIELD: transport.SUBSTANCE: invention relates to noise-suppressing baffle and plastic fuel tank with such baffle. Noise-suppressing fuel tank baffle comprises lower holder 1 and upper sliding part 2 sliding relative to the holder 4 by force of contraction springs 5 fitted at retainers 6. Lower holder 1 has hollow base 13 including two vertical or inclined walls that form open elongated cavity. Said cavity has lengthwise axis and at least one rib making an angle with cavity lengthwise axis. Invention covers also fuel tank furnished with said noise-suppressing baffle including molded flange with slot. Note here that it is secured in the tank by its base 13 on said flange and its rib inside flange slot.EFFECT: baffle and tank assembly for easy and reliable locking of baffle inside fuel tank.15 cl, 7 dwg
