The device (10) has a transport trailer (16) brought to a site of testing a tailgate. A connecting unit (18) connects a first load (14) to the transport trailer to allow transport of the first load to the tailgate to-be tested from the transport trailer for carrying out a dynamic test of the tailgate by using the first load freely. The connection unit maintains the first load related to the transport trailer to carry out a static test of the tailgate by using a second load constituted by the first load freely and connected to the transport trailer.
