PURPOSE: An on-line game providing method and a system thereof are provided to support the item shape change by the demand of a user, thereby variously changing the shape of item. CONSTITUTION: An item database (140) stores shape information of a plurality of item which is wearable to a virtual character. According to the changing information provided from a game client, an object changing unit (170) changes an outer object of a specific item. A cutting module deletes at least a part of the outer object of the specific item. A length changing module reduces or increases at least a part of the item shape to the equal ratio. A shape change controlling unit (160) provides a shape editing tool, which is able to change the item shape, to at least one game client. The shape change controlling unit provides the changing information inputted through the shape editing tool to the object changing unit.
