PURPOSE: A method for manufacturing a pleated fabric is provided to improve the efficiency of production with wrinkles generated naturally by the change of contraction according to the processing temperature of polyester threads. CONSTITUTION: A method for manufacturing a pleated fabric by using the property of fibers comprises the steps of: braiding or interlacing rayon threads little contracted according to processing temperature and polyester threads contracted according to processing temperature; manufacturing a fabric by using rayon threads and polyester threads as weft threads and warp threads; and forming wrinkles generated by the contracting force of polyester threads according to the change in temperature of processing the fabric.
