The device has a contour punching device (5) provided for punching a head area of a bag package (2) with a breaking latch (8). A pre-cutting device (9) is provided for separating a pre-cut part (10) from a packaging material web (4), so that a base area of the bag package is produced. A folding device (12) folds the bag package opened at the head area from the pre-cut part. Another folding device (22) is provided for locking the open bag package by repeated changing of the head area to a head lobe, where the latch is arranged at an inner side below the head lobe. An independent claim is also included for a method for manufacturing a bag package. |
