PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To enable information collection of a connection fault that occurs instantaneously in an optical transmission communication device.SOLUTION: In the optical transmission communication device, a management package includes: a control unit for executing device setting and operation control and collecting status information and alarm information of a package to be managed; and an operation memory for storing information collected by the control unit. The package to be managed includes: a function execution unit for executing device setting and operation on the basis of the management information from the management package, and for transmitting status information on the device setting and the operation to the management package; an instantaneous fault information preservation memory for preserving instantaneous fault information; and a communication fault detection unit for transmitting as alarm information to the management package on detection of a communication fault that continues for a predetermined period, whereas preserving, as instantaneous fault information, into the instantaneous fault information preservation memory on detection of an instantaneous communication fault that continues shorter than the predetermined period. |
