PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a means for specifically and highly sensitively detecting a minute amount of wheat contained in a processed food for which detection of wheat contained is thought to be difficult, because DNA is decomposed and fragmented due to a treatment such as heating or pressuring, without analyzing by electrophoresis.SOLUTION: This method for detecting wheat contains steps of performing real time PCR using a DNA extracted from a test sample as a template, and a probe which comprises: a primer pair comprising a mixture of an oligonucleotide having a base sequence comprising a specific sequence and an oligonucleotide having a base sequence comprising the other specific sequence; and an oligonucleotide having a base sequence comprising a specific sequence, and detecting presence of wheat from a fluorescence signal originated from a wheat target amplified product. |
