PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To facilitate maintenance/management of an inspection apparatus of a recording type optical disk.SOLUTION: A determination method for an inspection apparatus for inspecting a recording state of a recording type optical disk includes the steps for: determining whether continuous use of the inspection apparatus is possible or not on the basis of an index having correlation with deviation from a calibrated state or a difference between a reference value of the index and the index; and, when possibility of continuous use is determined, setting the inspection apparatus so as to inspect the recording type optical disk. Consequently the recording type optical disk can be inspected while guaranteeing inspection performance of the inspection apparatus. |
