PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an electric pole ascending/descending device which can be installed stably and easily in accordance with a height of a first scaffold of an electric pole, so as to safely ascend to the first scaffold of the electric pole.SOLUTION: An electric pole ascending/descending device 1 for ascending/descending an electric pole 2 comprises an ascending/descending device body 10 in which a tube body is inserted into another tube body and can be elongated/contracted by changing an inserting amount and a plurality of insertion holes A are formed in an axial line direction, steps 20 which are inserted into the insertion holes A of the ascending/descending device body 10 to regulate the elongation/contraction of the ascending/descending device body 10 and to function as scaffolds, a fixing band 30 for fixing the ascending/descending device body 10 to the electric pole 2, and a hook 15a which is provided in an upper end portion of the ascending/descending device body 10 and locked to a scaffold bolt 2a provided in the electric pole 2.
