PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an image forming apparatus, and a license moving system, method and program that are capable of efficiently moving a license.SOLUTION: An image forming apparatus includes: function storing means for retaining one application to be executed by a plurality of functions, in association with the plurality of functions; license retaining means for retaining a license to be assigned for function execution; license confirming means for confirming whether or not a license related to a function constituting the application is retained in an image forming apparatus, when executing the application; license inquiry means for, when the license is not retained in the image forming apparatus, inquiring whether a non-retention license is retained, which is a not retained license, of another image forming apparatus connected to a network; and license requesting means for requesting the non-retention license from the other image forming apparatus retaining the non-retention license. |
