PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To enable easy backup or recovery at an OS unit, in an information processing apparatus having a plurality of arithmetic processing parts for virtually executing a plurality of OSs in parallel.SOLUTION: A VMM allocates hardware resources such as a storage region with regard to each of a plurality of OSs such as a first OS or a second OS according to a configuration file. A PC 100 has a switch 51 as a hardware resource. The switch 51 is installed at an outer portion of the PC 100. Backup or recovery is carried out by a user's operation toward the switch 51. The switch 51 accepts, from a user, a designation of an OS and a designation of backup or recovery at an OS designation part 61. The switch 51 executes the backup or recovery when accepting a depressing operation on a start button 62, according to the designation at the OS designation part 61. |
