PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To increase in tilt angle of a floating body to an inclination angle of a sea surface or more, and to efficiently convert a water level variation of the sea surface into tilting movement of the floating body.SOLUTION: A floating body 11 for a flap type gyro wave power generation device includes: an underwater part floating body 12 tension-moored by an anchor 16a through a tension-mooring rope 15a and restricted in motion in the vertical direction; and a flap type floating body 13 mounted with the gyro wave power generation device. The flap type floating body 13 is rotatably pin-coupled to the underwater part floating body 12 at a pin-coupling part 14, and makes the tilting movement to the water level variation of the sea surface. A power generation efficiency of the gyro wave power generation device is enhanced. Since restoring movement by tilting of the floating body is also promoted, effect as a wave dissipating device on waves is also enhanced by converting energy of the waves into restoring force. |
