A power transmission device (GM1) in which a motor (M1) and a reducer (G1) are linked through a fluid coupling (F1) is provided with: a fan (26) furnished to the input shaft (24) of the reducer (G1), for cooling the reducer; and a protective cover (18) covering the fluid coupling (F1). The protective cover (18) is furnished with air intakes (40, 41) for the fan (26), and is moreover furnished with a guiding means (42) (divider (44)) for guiding the air drawn in from the air intakes (40, 41) to the fan (26). In a power transmission device in which a motor and a reducer are linked through a fluid coupling, the reducer is thereby cooled efficiently. |
