<p>[Problem] To produce a (meth)acrylic acid ester-based copolymer useful as a photocurable resin composition in little time and at an industrially advantageous temperature. [Solution] Provided is a method for producing a (meth)acrylic acid ester-based copolymer (X), the method being characterized by comprising anionically polymerizing a mixture comprising a di(meth)acrylate represented by general formula (1) and an alkyl (meth)acrylate represented by general formula (2) in the presence of an organolithium compound (L), a tertiary organoaluminum compound (A) the molecule of which includes a chemical structure represented by the general formula Al-O-Ar (in the formula, Ar represents an aromatic ring), and at least one species of Lewis base (B) selected from the group consisting of ethers and tertiary polyamines. (In the formula, R1 represents a hydrogen atom or a methyl group, R2 represents a C1-5 linear alkylene group, and R3 and R4 each independently represent a C1-6 hydrocarbon group.)
