An expandable ostomy pouch (20) and an expandable ostomy cap (100) include a first portion (22,106) and a second portion (24,110) sharing a common cavity. The first portion and the second portion are configured such that the second portion can be inverted and inserted within the first portion in a compacted state. The second portion can be manually pulled out or can be expanded due to gravoty and/or due to elevated pressure with the pouch due to the stomal discharge, as the cavity is filled with stomal discharge. |
