PURPOSE: A roller screw linear actuator is provided to improve a load capacity by increasing a contact area, thereby being easily applied to a large-sized press. CONSTITUTION: A screw (10) has a screw thread (11) in an external diameter. A plurality of rollers (20) is engaged with the screw thread along the circumference of the screw so as to freely rotate. A flange (30) supports the both ends of the rollers. A nut (40) is engaged at the ends of the roller and the flange so as to be rotated. A roller cover (60) move rectilinearly with the screw at the center so as to perform as a ram. |
