PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an opening/closing body stop device of an opening/closing device, in which the amount of tension of a string-like member for stopping an opening/closing body increases even when the opening/closing body abuts on a hard obstacle during closing movement.SOLUTION: An opening/closing body stop device of an opening/closing device comprises: a locking wire 36 which is a flexible string-like member bridged between a shutter curtain which is an opening/closing body and a mechanical control device for mechanically controlling a drive unit for driving the shutter curtain; and a mechanical coupling device 39 which is arranged in the shutter curtain, and which puts the shutter curtain and the wire 36 into a mechanically-connected state by the movement of a curtain auxiliary portion with respect to a curtain main part due to an obstacle on which the shutter curtain abuts midway through closing movement of the shutter curtain. The device has two lever members 61, 62 which make a linear part among the wire 36 non-linear by sandwiching the linear part, and the lever members swing freely around a fulcrum shaft 63. |
