The two legs are provided with respective pliers-like gripping surfaces (4) which are used for gripping and removing the ear hairs (H). Each gripping surface is provided with friction-increasing structure (8) and rough and/or textured surface (9). The gripping surface is provided with sticky material (11) containing adhesive and/or wax arranged on a film (12).
