PURPOSE: An uninterruptible traffic signal controller prevents traffic chaos and saves energy by using commercial electricity. CONSTITUTION: A first power supply unit (210) generates and transmits first electrical energy by using commercial electricity. A second power supply unit (220) generates and transmits second electrical energy by using solar energy. A first charge quantity detection unit (230) detects the charge quantity of the first electrical energy transmitted from the first power supply unit. A second charge quantity detection unit (240) detects the charge quantity of the second electrical energy. A third charge quantity detection unit detects the supply of third electrical energy from a vehicle battery. A boosting converter (280) boosts the third electrical energy to a voltage used for a traffic light. A controller controls the electrical energy to be supplied from the traffic light and includes a microprocessor (265) and a switching unit. The microprocessor generates a selection signal for the first to third electrical energy.
