PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a planar stacked battery in which deterioration in battery performance thereof due to expansion of a single cell layer is suppressed, by suppressing expansion of the single cell layer.SOLUTION: The planar stacked battery includes a power generation element consisting of a lamination of single cell layers each having a positive electrode obtained by forming a positive electrode active material layer on the surface of a collector, a negative electrode obtained by forming a negative electrode active material layer on the surface of a collector, and an electrolyte layer. The positive electrode active material layer contains a manganese-containing positive electrode active material having a manganese elution amount of 0.04 mass% or less. |
