PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a fuel cell device that absorbs thermal expansion of a reformer in a power-generating operation and thus contributes to improved durability and long life of the reformer.SOLUTION: A fuel cell device includes: a reformer 200; a combustion section 300 that forms a combustion space 301 for heating the reformer 200; a stack 400; a heat insulating wall 500 that surrounds the reformer 200 and a fuel cell; and a metal fixing section 600 that is disposed along the heat insulating wall 500. A first longitudinal end 200e of the reformer 200 is fixed to a portion of the fixing section 600 with welds 700 or mounts so as to be restrained from displacement associated with longitudinal thermal expansion of the reformer 200. A second longitudinal end 200f of the reformer 200 is mounted on a mounting surface 802 of the heat insulating wall 500 so as to be relatively displaceable in the longitudinal direction of the reformer 200 in association with the thermal expansion. |
