PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an image processing device that performs saturation correction for enabling high-accuracy focus detection even if a pixel output value reaches a saturation level.SOLUTION: An image processing device for processing an image signal from an imaging element having a plurality of pixels for one microlens includes: saturation detection means for detecting that output values of the pixels have reached a saturation level; and saturation correction means that corrects an output value of a saturation pixel having reached the saturation level and an output value of an adjacent pixel that shares the same microlens with the saturation pixel.
