PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain a large discharge current in a charge and discharge device.SOLUTION: During discharge of a secondary battery 1, a controller 10 generates a pulse signal Sthe duty ratio of which is adjusted based on a discharge current I, and generates an upper drive signal GH and a lower drive signal GL by delaying the edge of the pulse signal by a dead time Td. When the pulse width of the pulse signal S, i.e., the period from the first edge to the second edge thereof, is larger than a predetermined first threshold, the controller 10 sets the dead time Td to an initial value Td. When the pulse width of the pulse signal Sis equal to or smaller than the first threshold, the gate upper drive signal GH is fixed to an off level, and the dead time Td is set shorter than the initial value Td. |
